The world’s largest halal trade show will be held in Kuala Lumpur with a focus on governance, traceability, technology and artificial intelligence.
The 22nd edition of the Malaysia International Halal Showcase — MIHAS 2026 will be held from September 23 to 26 at MITEC, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Recognized as one of the leading global platforms for the halal economy, the trade show aims to generate more than US$1 billion in business, with over 2,380 booths, an expected 40,000 visitors and representatives from more than 80 countries.
The 2026 edition will be held under the theme “Shaping Trust, Driving Resilience” and will highlight three strategic pillars: halal compliance integrated into product and process development, leadership in globally recognized halal standards and AI-driven business solutions. For the first time, halal technology and AI will appear as a dedicated sector of the event, reinforcing the connection between certification, traceability, governance and innovation.
For companies seeking to operate in Islamic markets, MIHAS reinforces an important message: halal is no longer only a certification applied to the final product. It has become part of market strategy, trust, supply chain management, documentation, governance and international access.
