The Japanese province of Miyazaki has taken a historic step by completing its first halal Wagyu beef export to Qatar. The certification was issued by the Japan Islamic Trust, ensuring that the entire production process complies with Islamic dietary laws.
The initial shipment of 150 kilograms of Miyazaki A5 Wagyu will be served in select restaurants in Qatar, where demand for premium beef is rising. This strategic move aims not only to cater to the Middle Eastern market but also to expand exports to other Muslim-majority countries.
With this initiative, Japan strengthens its position in the global halal food market, promoting Wagyu beef as a luxury product accessible to Muslim consumers.
