Malaysia reaffirms its commitment to leading the global Halal market by investing in the development of a highly skilled workforce. During the Halal Talent Symposium 2024, organized by the Halal Development Corporation Berhad (HDC), approximately 200 industry leaders, government officials, and educational institutions came together to discuss strategies for shaping the future Halal ecosystem.

With the theme "Empowering the Halal Workforce of the Future", the event was officiated by YBhg. Datuk Bahria binti Mohd Tamil, Deputy Secretary-General of the Ministry of Investment, Trade, and Industry (MITI). In her speech, Datuk Bahria emphasized the vital role of qualified professionals in meeting high Halal standards and mentioned the Halal Industry Master Plan 2030 as a strategic initiative to achieve this goal.

The symposium reinforced the importance of nurturing local talents capable of addressing the growing demands of the Halal industry while ensuring excellence in standards and practices.
