Islamic Inspection Service - SIILHalal

The Cooperag Agroindustrial Copagril, a unit of Marechal Cândido Rondon in Paraná (Certified by SIILHalal - Islamic Inspection Service) received in July the visit of Sheikh Ali Dib Al Khatib, official representative of Dar Al-Fatwa of Lebanon in Brazil and in the Latin America.

During the visit, the Sheikh was received by the supervisor Mohammed Imran and accompanied by the director of SIIL, Mr. Chaiboun I. Darwiche, who together conferred the entire process of chicken slaughter to the halal market.

The visit took place with the objective of closely monitoring the halal slaughter process, since for all meat exports from Brazil to Lebanon the approval of the religious entity is required.
