The United Arab Emirates expo is the region’s biggest beauty industry show. It had already been rescheduled for August. Now, it has been put off until November.
The 2020 edition of Beautyworld Middle East, the region’s premier beauty industry show, has been postponed. The new dates are November 23 to 25 at the UAE’s Dubai World Trade Centre. The announcement was made this Friday (22) by Messe Frankfurt Middle East, which organizes the trade show.
Beautyworld Middle East had already been pushed back until August. Now, organizers decided to postpone again due to international travel restrictions and the risk of coronavirus infection.
Messe Frankfurt said it worked with fairgoers, exhibitors and partners to set a new date. The decision was made in line with global governments’ efforts to contain Covid-19.
Beautyworld Middle East Exhibitions director Elaine O’Connell said all exhibitor contracts remain in place. “Our first priority is to the health and safety of our exhibitors and visitors as the global beauty industry continues to navigate these challenging times,” a press release quoted her as saying.
Beautyworld Middle East features suppliers of items including hair, nail and salon supplies; cosmetics and skincare; personal care and hygiene; machinery, packaging, raw materials & contract manufacturing; fragrance compounds and finished fragrance; and natural & organic products.
